WFS1 set the foundation as the first professional flag football event in history. Now we're expanding. WFS2 builds on everything Tampa proved — and scales all three dimensions of the product at once.
01 · Expanded Roster & Teams
WFS1 ran three franchises and thirty signed athletes. WFS2 stays at three, but the field changes: the Glitter Bombs and H.E.R. return, the Ice Queens are not competing in Toronto, and the expansion Midnight Ballers make their debut — opening a fresh slate of professional roster spots.
Athlete applications are open now. If you competed at a national team, collegiate or federation level, submit your application for competition committee review.
02 · Global Event Host Cities
Tampa hosted history. WFS2 is confirmed for York Lions Stadium in Toronto, Ontario, Canada — the league’s first event outside the United States, putting the product in front of a new market and bringing the game to a country already supplying its athletes. Read the full announcement.
WFS2 Toronto is confirmed for Saturday, September 19, 2026, first kickoff 3:00 PM EST. Game-by-game times and any further host city announcements go to the VIP list before they go anywhere else.

03 · Enhanced Broadcast & Media
The next series expands the media product substantially: multi-camera live coverage, a behind-the-scenes docuseries following athletes through the run-up and the event itself, and deeper play-by-play analytics feeding both the broadcast and the player stat pages on this site.
