Relive the electrifying plays, game-winning flag pulls, and championship moments from the world's first professional flag football series.
On Saturday, July 25, 2026, Suncoast Credit Union Field in Tampa, Florida hosted something that had never happened before: a fully professional flag football series. Three franchise teams. Thirty signed athletes representing fourteen countries. Five games, start to finish, in a single night under prime-time lights.
WFS1 was not a proof of concept dressed up as an event. It was a complete competition with real stakes, real compensation, and a live stadium crowd — and it closed the argument about whether the format could carry a professional product.
The Format
The tournament opened with three round-robin sprints that seeded the field, then went straight to a knockout bracket. No rest days, no travel, no second chances. Every team played twice before the bracket, with seeding decided on the field.

“Three teams. Thirty athletes. Fourteen nations. One night that changed what professional flag football is allowed to be.”
The Three Franchises
Glitter Bombs
A high-powered American roster built on explosive vertical offense and unmatched speed, quarterbacked by veteran Lacey Abell with a receiving corps deep enough to attack every level of the field.
H.E.R. (Hustle Every Rep)
A genuine international super-team, drawing star power from the USA, Canada, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Chile and Argentina — the most nationally diverse roster of the three.
Ice Queens
A globally assembled squad anchored by lockdown defense and calculated precision, with athletes from Poland, Czechia, Australia, Austria, France, Germany, Italy and the United States.
Official Results
Final scores, seeding and the championship result are now published, sourced from the official WFS1 statistics kept by Breakaway Data. Complete box scores sit on every game in the Box Score Center, and individual totals plus per-game logs are live on every athlete profile.
In the meantime, every game is available to watch in full on WFS TV, and the complete game slate is on the WFS1 results page.
What It Proved
WFS1 established the benchmark. The format holds up for broadcast. The athletes deliver at a professional standard. The crowd showed up. Everything that follows in professional flag football now has a reference point, and it was set in Tampa.
Next comes expansion. WFS2 heads north to York Lions Stadium in Toronto and a three-team field featuring the expansion Midnight Ballers — and the VIP list gets first access to all of it.
