About The League

The First Professional Flag Football Series

World Flag Series didn't announce a vision and wait. On July 25, 2026, WFS staged the first professional flag football series in history — and set the standard everything that follows will be measured against.

World Flag Series exists because the game deserved a professional home. For too long, elite flag football athletes competed without the structure, compensation, or spotlight they had earned. On July 25, 2026, at Suncoast Credit Union Field in Tampa, Florida, WFS changed that permanently.

WFS1 was not a grassroots tournament or a side-show. It was a professionally produced, compensated, prime-time event: three franchise teams, thirty elite international athletes representing fourteen countries, competing in a five-game single-night tournament in front of a live stadium crowd and a global broadcast audience.

That night proved the thesis. Professional flag football works — as a competition, as a product, and as a stage worthy of the best athletes on the planet. WFS is now the proven pioneer of the format, and the standard-bearer for elite, fast-paced, high-intensity flag football as the sport accelerates toward global prominence.

WFS1 was chapter one. WFS2 went north to York Lions Stadium in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on September 19, 2026 — the league’s first event outside the United States, a three-team field featuring the Glitter Bombs, H.E.R. and the expansion Midnight Ballers. The Ice Queens did not compete at WFS2 — their full WFS1 record stays on file. H.E.R. won the title to become back-to-back WFS champions. WFS3 is Coming Soon. See the WFS2 event page.

Proven, Not Promised

WFS is the only organization to have staged a full professional flag football series. The format, the production and the athlete experience are field-tested, not theoretical.

Elite Competition

The best women's flag football players in the world, competing under professional conditions with real stakes and real compensation.

Global By Design

Fourteen nations were represented on the field at WFS1. International reach is not an expansion phase — it was there on day one.

Women First

The women's game doesn't wait for a men's version to validate it. WFS put women's flag football on the map first, and kept it there.
